“What do you think you’re doing,” Daeryong hisses, pulling him from the window. Soryong lands on his back but the bed is soft and the springs whine and Daeryong’s breath sears his neck. It disappears too quickly.
He grins at his brother, plan in motion. “I was just trying to make conver-”
“At 1am? You don’t taunt these people! We’re here to train, and we’re going back to debut. That’s all we’re here for.”
Three stories down, the clink of glass on glass and still-heated murmurs leak into their dorm room. For such a big city, New York is suffocating.
Soryong shrugs, still smiling. “I knew you’d save the day. Save me.”
The concentrated anger in Daeryong’s eyes extinguishes. He flops down onto the bed, bumping their shoulders together. He exhales. “Of course.”
“You’d do anything for me.” A fact, one reinforced when Daeryong nods.
Soryong shifts closer, until they’re pressed together on the single bed. Daeryong breathes quietly through his mouth, unsuspecting, and the sound matches Soryong’s heartbeat. Emboldened, he lifts his hand and runs his fingers over Daeryong’s thin shirt, over his taut stomach.
Daeryong catches his wrist in hand, gentle but unyielding, and Soryong's smile flickers.
