Summary: Han Geng has never been the type of person travel very far.

There is an old saying: the farther up you hold your chopsticks, the farther away you'll move from home in the future.
Han Geng is six when he hears this. For weeks he holds his chopsticks almost at the very bottom. It isn't a very effective way of picking anything up but it means he'll never leave home.
More than once he ends up dragging his fingers through the sauce of piping-hot dishes, gleaming with oil. His hand burns; there's sauce on his sleeve. His mother scolds, but then smiles at the effort he's making - so everything is okay.
