Hello to any of my friends who are still active! I was feeling nostalgic today and wanted to post an entry. I miss the days of when lj was popular. I do still lurk on pkmncollectors but that's the extent of my lj experience these days

Don't give up your beautiful Latis! It's what I know you for. D: In fact, a while back I was thinking of selling all my Glaceons since I didn't really want them anymore. I am so, SO glad I never went through with that--I would've been heartbroken. Like you said, I've invested way too much time and money into them... they're also so dear to me. Even if I had managed to get them back somehow, it never would've been the same.
Collecting isn't about having the biggest or the best--it's about your own experience in doing what you love. I absolutely adore looking at my displays and reflecting on where, how and when I got each item. It reminds me of how much I've grown and changed over the years. And it makes me so, so happy.

I'm delighted to hear you're doing something you're passionate about! I love seeing all of the horse photos you post on Facebook. 8D

Keep at it with that art, too! I have pretty big dreams myself. I can see myself each day getting closer and closer to where I want to be--art school will expedite that immensely, I'm sure. Have you considered taking any drawing classes? I've found those are a fantastic way to learn a lot and improve drastically in a short amount of time. It's something I'd certainly recommend.

Aw thank you bb <33 I know exactly that feeling. I think I got caught up in competing. I'm really glad you didn't sell your glaceons either oh my gosh I love your collection!! So very true, our collections are precious memories...I remember when we first started out! We've come so far to just give up.

You are going to art school?! That's amazing. You are so talented!! You know...I did think of art classes. Definitely a fantastic idea I need to look into...plus it will motivate me.
