i'm in...
college, that is. boy, is that such a relief. ok, so here's the deal. everyone knows how i was in love with lehigh university, right? well, after being deferred, i wasn't about to sit around and take my chances of getting in. i had to have security on a school. and that's where moravian comes into the picture. i only applied to lehigh and moravian, being that i don't want to go too far away. so what happens is that moravian contacts me, keeps asking me if i wanted to switch my application to early decision and the admissions officer for monroe county told me to go and visit again because he was sure i would change my mind about early decision. then i sent in my early estimate and did my music audition. the other day, i got my acceptance as a music major at moravian, contingent on whether i got into moravian college itself. today, i get my big ol' envelope from moravian telling me of my acceptance. i had quite the hard decision on whether or not i wanted to apply early to moravian because if i got in, i would have to withdrawl my application from lehigh. i finally had decided i was going to apply early because i couldn't wait on lehigh. also, moravian accepted and wanted me so i jumped on this chance. also, they gave me a $20,000 merit scholarship...FREE MONEY. i don't have to pay this back! which is so great. also, i realized that i would be more comfortable with the people at moravian. they're more laid back and not all rich kids, which i would run into a lot of at lehigh, i know. so i'm going to moravian. but i'm going to be at lehigh for a lot of the year though too since danielle's going there. so basically, it's like the best of both worlds. i don't have to go to school for 5 years, but i get to go to all those mad parties on "the hill" at lehigh with danielle. it's going to be a blast.
