Summary: Kyuhyun and Seohyun have been best friends ever since they were kids. They treat each other like brother and sister. But Kyuhyun thinks otherwise because of his growing attraction to her. He wanted to let her know how he feels, yet there are those who get in the way: Seohyun's crush on Jung Yonghwa, the school band's vocalist, and his own insecurities.

PROLOGUE
"Oppa!" A seven-year old little girl shouted as she caught sight of a boy just three years older than her. "Kyuhyun oppa!"
The boy only smirked at her as he went towards her. "Ya, Seohyun. What's up?" He asked before taking a bite of his hamburger.
Seven year-old Seo Joohyun just pouted at him and crossed her arms which the older male found cute. "Oppa, how many times do I have to tell you about hamburgers? They're very unhealthy and you will die if you eat that! You should eat ginseng or ma with apples. At least they're healthier."
Ten year-old Cho Kyuhyun just chuckled at her. "My dear Joohyun, this is food! Plus, I'm hungry!"
"But they are unhealthy! You could get sick. Secondly, ewww..." Seohyun pretended to gag as she saw him bite the hamburger. "Oppa... Can you please just throw it away? We can just eat sweet potatoes!"
"I-DON'T-WANT-TO." Kyuhyun emphasized every word. Despite his young age, Kyuhyun was mischievous. He chuckled at her as she glowered. "Oppa! Seriously!" Then she began hitting his arm simultaneously.
Kyuhyun noticed how cutely her cheeks puffed as she became mad. He wanted to tease her more. But he didn't want to anger her more so to at least amuse himself, he took one last bite of the hamburger and threw the unfinished food in the nearest trash bin. "Alright alright! Hamburgers are not-"
Seohyun cut him off. "No. Fast foods are not healthy."
"Right. Fast foods are not healthy." He repeated. Hearing him say that made her beam widely. Kyuhyun couldn't help but stare at her. He thought she was really endearing. He thought every good word in the dictionary just to describe her.
"Oppa? Hello? Earth to Kyuhyun!" Seohyun spoke as she waved her hand over his face. "Ya, oppa! Stop staring at me like that! You're giving me the creeps!"
He finally snapped from his trance and saw a frantic Seohyun. "Kyuhyun oppa, let's go. Ara unnie is waiting for us."
He only nodded at her while she grabbed his hand and pulled him towards Kyuhyun's older sister, who was waving at them.
And that was Kyuhyun and Seohyun's unwavering friendship. Unknown to Seohyun, this was the day her best friend started to have feelings for her.
