So our VOIP system here at work has an amazing feature that when you put people on hold it can play music. It does this by actually have a small computer set up that receives 'holds' or temporary transfers to a certain extension. Since it automatically receives all calls and just plays a song, you can actually call this extension, from system phones only, unfortunatly, but when you call you can just hear this music play. Basically I can make the hold music call people. The thing is, we both work in IT so we have to deal with these issues, so we know that extension. No other faculty or anyone really would recognize it, so mysteriously people maybe getting calls from an annoying song. Not that I would do such a thing, but there may be people of less moral and ethical integrity out there who are willing...
