5 days in and counting
1. I've finally got the Internet working over here. Three tech guys spent 2 and a half hours messing with my Dell, but it's so worth it. Oh internet, how I've missed you.
2. Anyway, I'm living on the 10th floor of my building and have a great view of the Charles River and parts of Downtown. Plus my roommate's really nice. Her name is Erica and she's from Chicago. However, I do have to listen to the damn T pass my building every ten minutes especially at night.
3. As great as Boston is, I miss New York, my old apartment, and knowing all the cable channels terribly. I simply can't find anything I want to watch and totally forgot to watch Dead Like Me and Eureka last night. ARGH! But I'm trying to adjust and eat properly, which is so difficult since I'm so anxious that I'm just making myself sick to my stomach.
4. Today, I'm going to call Jan, my boss, to set an appointment and schedule my shifts for my new media and A/V job once I get my medical affairs settled.
5. I'm going to try to make a trip home to see my parents this weekend if I can get time off. But surprisingly, the bus company, Fung Wah, that I usually take from Boston to New York (tickets for $15) just had a major accident that left 34 or 35 people injured. The driver was speeding and the bus just tumbled over on it's side outside of Auburn. Hopefully, I'll catch a Lucky Star bus so I don't have to take Fung Wah and if not well, let's hope that driving regulations improve by Friday.
