The following is to be taken with a grain of salt -- Apparently, according to Square Enix Senior Vice President Shinji Hashimoto is none too pleased with the sales figures brought on by Chrono Trigger DS's sales. At least, not enough to warrant Square Enix giving the go ahead to further the CT franchise(source - http://www.rpgsite.net/news/342.html).

So I guess show more CT love buy buying more copies. =P
