fucking fuck fuck...
the new carpet that v & i recently purchased is now soaked with water. we're not talking a little damp by the laundry room, we're talking the drain over in the main area backed up and my bedroom is now soaked. v & i are just sitting down here, he's on xbox and i'm on the computer and i turn my head and the carpet has puddles on it. in a way that's kind of funny that we were so into what we were doing that we completely missed the fact that the room was filling with water. the plumber is coming tomorrow morning but who knows how long until the carpet is dry. i hate basements and i really hate drains. i guess the only good thing is that none of the musical equipment suffered any water damage. the past couple days i've spent working. had a staff meeting on sunday night to discuss the upcoming holiday season. gotta admit, waste of 2 hours. basically the managers just told us a bunch of stuff that we already know. i work tomorrow night and then i get three days off which is pretty sweet except for the fact that i'll be spending it in a basement that now resembles a lake. gotta love that. i get paid on friday but the iPod purchase may have to be put on hold. not quite sure yet. i guess i'll get a canoe and watch some tv so until next time...
