My "Challenge Tame" Experience

I love my hunter, and she's second only to my main. I'm always wanting more pets, and narrowing down which ones to keep is difficult. I generally pick just based on what looks nice to me (which is why I have way too many cats). When the Challenge Tames were released this last patch, I thought it sounded cool, but wasn't overly interested in any of ( Read more... )

That is so awesome! Congrats on taming him! :D

It was very kind of all those people to pull together and help you. From the sounds of it, he was giving you a rough time.

Hmm... heartwarming stories eh?

Let's see, there was one time when I was on my rogue. I had just hit 80 and this random mage congratulated me and tried to give me 100g and some healing potions. I thanked them, but declined. I still thought it was incredibly sweet of them to congratulate me, let alone to be so generous to a stranger.

There was another time when I was on Uther with my little undead death knight. I was trying to kill an orc elite for a quest in hellfire, only I had no idea that 6 adds would spawn and attack me. I was dying fast. Suddenly this dwarf hunter falls out of the sky and mauls them all. He saluted me and flew off. o_o He was SO COOL!

When I first started playing (I was a total noob) I was on my nelf druid questing in Terokkar Forest. I was on the moth killing quest... and stupidly didn't check to see if the green moths would aggro. Three of them attacked me. I was dying extremely fast... when all of a suddenly this belf hunter (who was at half life himself) pulls them all off of me. We managed to get them all down without either of us dying. It happened almost four years ago, but it still warms my heart.
