Looking for Two AU, science fiction fics
So I am looking for two fics that I'm actually pretty sure are famous fics, but I can't find those good old rec lists or I'm not remembering them right.
A. In one, a young Blair is kept in cryostasis for decades/centuries until found and unfrozen. He's the only known guide in the world at this point and ghe government vets two sentinels, Jim and another guy, for him. Jim is very kind but the other guy isn't and tries to kidnap Blair? Something like that.
B. In a science fiction future, humanity is at war with aliens, and Jim's unit finds a young (early twenties? Late teens?) Blair, who has amnesia. Everyone in the unit knows Jim is a sentinel and Blair figures it out because he has a huge interest in sentinels for some reason. Blair had been adopted by someone in the military/spying/technology industry who is looking for him as he is missing. There's also something about an undercover brother?
