Looking for story
This is stuck in my head and driving me crazier...
End of story, Jim believes Blair is dead. Killed by bad guys or bad cops or something. Simon tells Jim to expect his new partner. Jim isn't happy. New guy shows up, he's kinda short, short hair, broken nose like he'd been a fighter, gravelly voice. Jim knows it's Blair.
It's probably slash. I think Simon knows that the new guy is really Blair, too.
