I'm looking for an AU story. Jim and Blair met in another circonstances. Blair is a student and he's part working in some kind of "washing" company and he found a body. Jim is the leading investigator. I remember that in some point of the story, the "bad guy" put Blair in a big washing machine. Does it ring any bell ? It's driving me crazy ... I'm sure, I'm not imagining this one. If it helps, it's a GEN story.
