Jim bonding and gender fic
I'm looking for a fic where gender isn't so stable between sentinels and guides. It sounds strange, but the writer really made it fascinating. In a flashback, Jim and his military buddy actually take classes that prepare them for their changing bodies. Jim's friend becomes the guide and it's implied that he devopes intimate parts that allow ... intimate stuff to happen. He and Jim bond, but Jim looses him in a air crash accident, or something. Jim has to burry him, but eventually he meets Blair. If anyone can point me in the right direction or knows the story, thank you so much!!!
