Child Blair with stuffed jaguar toy that comes to life?

Hope someone can help me find this story! Can't remember all the details but Blair is either a child or injured/amnesiac and thinks he is a child. Someone - maybe Megan - gets him a stuffed black jaguar toy that is like one he had as a child. I think the toy jag was named Deva or something similar, and Jim thinks he can hear it breathing / purring. There is a backstory about Blair being badly abused as a child and the toy turning into Jim's spirit guide and protecting Blair. At some point the childhood abuser comes back into Blair's life. There might have been a sequel, too. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks so much!
