Looking for Another Story Where Blair Leaves

A recent post about Blair leaving reminded me of a story. Simon and the Commissioner want to get rid of Blair. They consider him an embarrassment after the dissertation mess. They make Blair think Megan is a good guide for Jim (even though she hurts him every time she tries to bring him out of zones) and make Jim think Blair doesn’t want to be out in the field. As a result, Blair leaves.

Jim finds out what they had been doing and quits and then goes to find Blair. I’m not sure if the story was gen or slash.
