Paraplegic/teacher Jim and a general request
I've tried to find this before, I think it was almost a year ago, doing a second try now.
Jim and Blair are friends (lovers?) when soldier Jim leaves for a war (Gulf war?). He gets hurt and comes back as a paraplegic.
There's angst, with Jim pushing Blair away and Blair pushing back.
Eventually Jim is a teacher at a collage/university and Blair teaches there as well.
Two scenes that stuck in my mind: Jim being away for a week(end?) at a conference or something like that, and because of time zones and not being able to follow his normal routine, he wakes up having wet himself.
Second scene is Jim proposing to Blair in the cafeteria of the school where they both work. Students around all cheer.
If anyone recognizes this I would really appreciate getting a link :)
General request I looked in the tags, but either I missed it or it doesn't exist. I'm looking for bonding fics. Where Sentinels and Guides are known in the world. I'm not looking for GDP. Not slave or force stories, but stories where Sentinels and Guides are known, have status etc.

Where there are knowledge and perhaps even Sentinel/Guide centers set up. Where Sentinels and Guides are equal, at least with each other - there might be some prejudice from outsiders, just like in real life. Fics where the "bonding" of Sentinel and Guide is intregal to the Sentinel mythos. Where Sentinel and Guides "match" on a fundemental level and that means that, that guide is for you.
I'd say that The Awakeing comes close to what I am looking for, Lady Ra's The Sentinel School verse http://www.visionsofprettyboys.com/Sentinel/Stories%20TS.htm is not exactly what I am looking for but still hit the mark somewhat.
