I read this awhile ago and now I can't find it - I know, what else is new, right? Anyway it's Jim/Blair after the temple, while they're still in Sierre Vede or however you spell it. A kind of mating instinct takes over Jim and Blair and I remember it startles Jim so much at first that he pushes Blair away, which is taken as rejection, and Blair starts to die. They figure it out and hook up and the other thing I remember is that after they'd bonded - had sex - they found that they had a sort of power of suggestion over each other ... oh, and I think Blair became sort of empathic but I'm not sure. Anyway, anyone know the story ?
