Hello all. I'm new to this group and have recently really gotten into Sentinel fic. What I'd like to solicit from you all is the best Jim/Blair hurt/comfort stories you can recommend. I've already read everything I could find through this group's tags, so any new recommendations are particularly sought after. Examples of what I've enjoyed

I think there's a Changes tag on this site, but here's Jean's site where you can order it if you like. You can also read an excerpt.

It garnered a lot of controversy but I enjoyed the story. If you are not worried about how quickly you get it, you can join some of the zine trading sites and occasionally a used one will show up. I waited for one, not because of the price but because my understanding is that the older version had more artwork in it. I've bought a few other zines but they are all out of print that I happened to find second-hand, so I can't rec when you don't have much chance of finding them.
Take care.

Where I've gotten some of mine are through two Yahoo groups. One is Zinelist and the other is Slashswap.

The first seems to be primarily for zine publishers to commiserate but there will many times be someone wanting to get rid of their used zines. Logically, this is also where new zines announcements are made and also publishers' sales are announced. I've also seen the occasional "ask", where someone puts up a message for a specific zine. It's multi-fandom.
Slashswap is not limited to zines and really has more of a trading post feel to it. You'll find the same new zines announcements that you'll get at Zinelist, but there's also people looking to sell or buy other fannish stuff. It's really more oriented to the stuff and less to the lifestyle. As with any Yahoo group you have to join and I think you have to state the reason you wish to join. I just put down that I'm interested in zines. Bast is the moderator of Zinelist and I forget who it is for Slashswap.
Believe it or not eBay does quite a bit of trade in zines. There are a lot of caveats though. Some of them are copies of zines, rather than the originals so you might not get good quality. That makes a difference to some folks. I've also heard zine publishers point out that you can pay considerably more for a zine than you would directly from the publisher. That, of course, can be said for a lot of stuff on eBay so you have to do your homework to make sure you're not getting ripped. I did a quick search this morning under "fanzine Sentinel" and got over 80 hits.
One place I go to check out zine titles and what's in them is the Loft Library. They have separate listings for gen and slash Sentinel zines. It's how I make up my "wish list", usually of out of print zines that I'll be on the lookout for. A few of them even have reviews and many times there's more detail info on the zine than you find even at the publisher's site. It also includes who the publisher is, if the zine is still in circulation. They are part of the Destinies Entwined site, which also happens to be a publisher.
WARNING: Please be aware that they are part of the skeeter.org network (as is the Cascade Library) and they are often infected with malware. Mostly the kind that gives you a pop-up that *you* are infected and try to sell you anti-virus software. It happened to me just now and I sent a note off to the site admin. It's relatively harmless but really annoying.

Finally, although it comes but once a year, the Moonridge auction often has new and used zines offered for sale at either good set prices or for bidding. You can get some good deals and help a great charity. Look at one of the announcement LJs like TS News for info. I think it starts in April or May of each year and, of course, ends before Moonridge Day at the zoo in June. Lots of other fannish stuff there also. I've bought some zines there and, who knows? I might auction them off there in a future one.
Have fun!
