Seeking J/B H/C stories

Dec 04, 2009 18:58

Hello all. I'm new to this group and have recently really gotten into Sentinel fic. What I'd like to solicit from you all is the best Jim/Blair hurt/comfort stories you can recommend. I've already read everything I could find through this group's tags, so any new recommendations are particularly sought after. Examples of what I've enjoyed ( Read more... )

theme: slavery, fic type: zines, *recs, theme: rape, hurt/comfort, character-related: hurt!jim, category: slash, character-related: hurt!blair

This is the second time I've recced this today, but it fits your description so why not?

No Islands any More by Betsy Tacy Ray-Kelly

Blair is raped in front of Jim and much angst follows.

When you say you've read everything through the group's tags, do you mean all the tags, or just the h/c tags? Because that might make a difference to what people suggest. :-)

Thanks for the rec, mab. I've actually already read this one, but it's a great story. As for the tags, I mean that I've read everything through the group's h/c or related tags.

If you've read *everything* under the h/c tags then you've been incredibly thorough, and I'm a little stumped as to anything new. Maybe other people will have better memories than mine. :-)

If you're interested in Jim-hurt, I highly recommend Em Brunson. I don't think her TS fic is available on LJ or a website right now, but you can join her Yahoo group and go to the files section--there's a zip file of a bunch of her Sentinel fic. A couple extra steps, I know, but totally worth it.

Thanks for the recs! I don't think I've ever read Em Brunson, so I'll dash over to her Yahoo group right now!

Well, I don't remember what's in the tags so I'll just throw out suggestions and either you've read them or not ( ... )

Wow! Thanks for taking the time to give me all the recs! A lot of these are new to me, so I'll have fun checking them out. I spend wayyyy too much time online reading fanfic, but, oh well. Everyone needs a hobby. :)

I spend way too much time also, but I've cut down on TV watching to compensate. I consider it a fair trade, since there's so much garbage on the tube! ^_^

Oh you asked for zines also. I don't buy many but I actually bought Changes by Jean Kluge. It's her continuation of Myrna's "Ever After" (found at 852 prospect). Myrna's story has Blair hurt with brain damage as a result of a vicious attack that he's not expected to survive. As a matter of fact there are also a couple of other sequels written by JM Griffin where Blair does not survive ( ... )

I've never thought about joining zine trading sites. I have a few zines I picked up off ebay but not many. Do you have any zine trading sites you can recommend?

Oh, sure! On the LJ side there's Senstuff. It's open to anything sentinel related. I can't remember how active they are, but many times someone is doing some housecleaning and you'll get a bunch listed. It's mostly Sentinel stuff, but no one objects if there's non TS stuff thrown in there. Here's the site ( ... )
