Now I read this story not too long ago, I have no idea what lead me to it in the first place, it could have been crackvan or this LJ or any number of the other ten thousand rec lists I try to keep my hand in. So if I found this due to a search here before and I missed it when I brezzed through the pages earlier then I'm quite sorry, but any help would be greatly welcomed and you will have my eternal thanks.
So this time the story I'm looking for is Jim/Blair...umm is there another pairing in this fandom ;)
Anyways, the was this man named Andy who was partnered with Jim, and was secretly in love with him, there was a car crash and he ended up dieing, his organ were given away, his heart ended up with Blair, who i belive needed it because he caught some kind of illness in another country. Jim finds out Andy was in love with him due to a letter that Andy had written himself on New Years...his own tradition that Blair actually dose too. And I really can't remember much else about it.
So again thanks for all those that take the time to read this and double thanks to anyone that lets me know what this bloody story is. :)
