I'm going crazy trying to find this story. I've looked everywhere and checked every tag I can think would fit. Help please! I'm fairly certain it is post The Sentinel by Blair Sandburg. Blair has pretty much given up on life and has decided to kill himself. He's taken off to a wooded area and is about to kill himself (I think he had a gun) when everyone from Major Crimes comes running. If I remember correctly, Jim is limping toward Blair because of the gunshot wound and Simon is waiting at the start of the path since he's in a wheelchair. Simon also gives Blair a significant piece of his mind when they get back to him. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you! Hugs, kisses, and virtual cookies to those that answer.
