Wild West AU and recs wanted
Okay, I remember this AU, but of course nothing relevant enough to find it by searching. It was Old West sort of thing, Blair was a traveling... doctor? Jim was the sheriff, and they get together and adopt the daughter of an OC couple who die at some point in the story. I think there's a sequel (or maybe just part two?) with Jim's older (like 8 or 12 year old) son by previous marriage who is dumped on them.
Also, a more general request... I have a thing for trust situations. I would love recs for fics where one of them is embarrassed about something or hiding something and is forced to fess up on their own, or exposed by some other means, and finds that the other partner is supportive about it. I love fraught situations with happy resolutions. Slash preferred :)
