J/B AUs
This is frustrating, because I could have sworn that I knew the title of this fic, but searches under it are turning up nothing.
The premise: Blair is in the witness protection program working as a vet. He's tracked down by Jim, who is a PI that's been hired to find him (he thinks he's looking for Blair on behalf of Blair's grandfather, but that's obviously not the case). Anyway, Jim finds him and spends some time helping out at the clinic till the fake grandfather comes to try and kill Blair. I thought the title was "All Creatures Great and Small", but a search for that just keeps turning up details about the BBC series...
Also, since I'm here, can anyone reccommend other J/B AUs, preferably *not* bonding and/or slave!fic (I've had a glut of those lately:) I'm a sucker for first-time and h/c, if that helps. And, what the heck, how about any good post-series fic? (I'm gearing up for Sentinel Rec Week over at Epic Recs, which is the perfect excuse to spend the weekend induldging in mountains of Sentinel fic.)
