Sentinel Big Bang 2017
Hi everyone. Happy New Year.
Our Big Bang is going back to our usual schedule, so signups will open in March with stories due in September ready for posting in November...unless something major happens to change our timetable.
The schedule is up on the big bang website. Over the next couple of weeks I will be reviewing all the rules and guidance pages and making any updates we need but I don't expect the rules to change much: this will be our tenth year and what we do works pretty well already.
I will post the links to the guides and faqs when I have finished them.
I do have one important question for everyone, though. I am aware that recent news has prompted a lot of people to leave Livejournal. LJ has become a lot quieter than it used to be and if moving the big bang is something the majority would like to do I'm happy to do it. What I don't want to do is add more places to cross-post - that's not easy for Patt and I to keep up with as it is. So if we move, we leave LJ.
So please let me know what you think - should we stay or go, and if we leave where should we make our new home?
