The Corporate World and Its Initial Impact on the Unsuspecting Bum

Feb 02, 2007 21:02

I just ended my first week of actual, time-in/time-out-ing, long sleeve-ing, starbucks (dare I say it) coffee-ing work. Real work!

Its very face paced and full of expectations. I was barraged with launch dates, projects, targets and hits and other interactive television corporate jargon that I had to quickly digest through the intestines of my mind.

What bugged me the most is that I don't have time to do some things that I like to do. I don't eat well (thank you Mini-stop and 7/11) and I dont live healthily. The cold-dry air-conditioned atmosphere is stinging my sensitive face. I now have to apply Chapstick every other hour because the cold air could really make your lips bleed.

But somehow, its ok. Or at least I think its ok. Right now, I'm just being perceptive and observant of this kind of life and what it could offer me.

Ayun, I am expecting the second week to be more funner!! hahaha! :P
