Oh, people DO analyze fanfic! That’s what DVD commentaries are for! they can be done by author, OR by random other person. It’s quite fascinating both ways.
I totally did not know that people not-authors did DVD commentaries! That is pretty cool. Oh, fandom. Never stop rocking. Also, benefit of this chat method - simultaneous sentence creation!
It’s definitely rarer. BUt there is a community for it. And there’s one in particular that’s really well done.
