Phew.
My Worst Week Ever is now officially over. Two midterms and two major essays, in two days - not cool, Professors. Not cool.
On the plus side, the second of the two essays was an analysis of Arthurian legend in general and "The Knight of the Cart" in specific, via fanfiction tropes. It's written to an audience who knows NOTHING about fanfic, so it's all very over-simplified, but I'm quite proud of it. I think I'll probably post it, but not until AFTER the plagiarism software has a chance to do its thing. I'd hate to get accused of plagiarising from my own blog. ^^'
Oh - I said I'd put up a picture from my low-on-budget, high-on-epic Hallowe'en! I keep forgetting about that! A lot of the photos aren't in my hands yet, alas - I don't have any good shots of the hands of blue, or Yo-Saff-Bridge, and we did some great scenes that I'd love to share... so I'll probably do more with this later. But for now, here's my favorite of the photos I do have, the in-character crew shot:
(I love how Inara and Mal are just lookin' all srs bzns on the outside, while the 'kids' goof off in the middle. *laughs*)
