Buongiorno from Rome! There is something about looking at an empty center court that just relaxes me so I always love to share it. Chaos is fun, but I do love to stop and just appreciate it all. Life is beautiful.
Bunta and I made it here safely (don't worry, Yagyuu) and I'm already hitting the ground running. First match is tonight against the local favorite. I'm afraid I'll be disappointing the Italians this evening. Once again I keep running into old faces, it feels incredibly good to be back into the swing of things. Tennis gives a rush unlike anything else.
And now its time to network, give my "thoughts on what it feels like to be playing at The Foro Italico complex again after three years and talk about if I'm worried about new and upcoming competition." Thank God for my amazing agent and her pre-printed press sheets. At least here they ask questions about tennis instead of focusing on other aspects of my life. I've never understood what my favorite color has to do with my tennis. Ridiculous.
