10 Years Ago I
1) Lived in a house with pretty wallpaper in Albuquerque, New Mexico
2) cried in bed listening to my parents yell at each other
3) thought boys were harmless
4) didn’t know what the internet was
5) semi-consciously sucked up to my teachers
5 Years Ago I
1) referred to my crushes with candy code names (ie. Skittles, twizzlers…)
2) discovered lip gloss
3) began to feel more emotionally insecure
4) learned about interesting things on bus rides…
5) participated in school plays
1 Year Ago I
1) went to homecoming for the first time with a date
2) let the opportunity to be with someone pass me by
3) went to football games for the first time
4) began listening to more rock/alt music
5) didn’t know if I was going to survive school
Yesterday I
1) Went to work and laughed, particularly at the conversation a little boy had with Vikram ^_~
2) Bought my mom a cake and 2 dozen yellow roses from Meijer’s
3) sang my mom “happy birthday”
4) read about Stanford’s admissions process and felt extremely depressed
5) received my online acceptance to Umich
Today I
1) watched “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”
2) waited until Jean and I got hungry and went to Lai Thai (Emilz it was really good-we shall def. go sometime ^_^ )
3) went to Big Boy’s and ate desert (yeah we’re freaks)
4) listened to mom complain about my “immature/unreasonable” father
5) found out that Umich supposedly has an acceptance rate of 62% according to US News
6) watched some SNL and found out Dane Cook is hosting it Dec 3rd
Tomorrow I will
1) try to wake up early and
2) begin and finish half of my humanities paper
3) Go shopping for operation good cheer @ target
4) go to mervyn’s perhaps?
