I'm working intently on the wall inside Gou's mind, trying to stabilise him without hurting him any further, when I hear something.
No -- see something?
It's very faint. Hard to interpret. I close my eyes, well, the eyes of my mental projection, so I can concentrate better. I'm picking up something from Gou himself, I think. Something he might not be aware of. Something... green.
I focus, letting it come to me. I don't want to push him, don't want to drive his heart rate up too high again, but if I can get a sense of what's so important to him, what's stuck in his mind like this, then maybe that'll be the key to bringing him back fully.
Flash...

It's regular. Like a heartbeat? No... like something he's experiencing, over and over. Something he's reliving. But what is it?
Flash... something green.
I frown, knowing this should mean something. It's green, and angry.
I try again, but don't get anything more useful, so I finish my work on the wall then gently break the link.
Opening my eyes, I turn until I see the person I need. "Sen-chan, I saw something inside his mind, that might be helpful. A flash of green light. Something angry. I don't know what it means."
