"Rain"
The next entry in my "Dekaranger Love" series is a nice little piece. The coupling dujour is Hoji/Jasmine and I call this piece "Rain"

Hoji sighed to himself as he sat in his room in the Dekabase, contentedly reading a book. The day had been quiet so far and after finishing patrolling and some reports, Hoji found himself with something that was unfamiliar to him: free time. He’d already done his usual daily training exercises, so now he had really nothing to do. So, he opted to read for a while.
It was raining today and Hoji found some odd comfort in the sound of rain falling on the windows and the distant rumble of thunder. It was almost soothing to him as he read, idly turning the pages of his book.
Suddenly, a noise jolted him out of the book. He looked up and saw a flash of yellow and black go past the open door of his room.
Jasmine. He thought to himself and got up, curious to see where she was going.
Hoji followed Jasmine and watched in shock as she headed out through the big double doors that served as the base’s entrance and simply stood there in the pouring rain. She was soaking wet in less than a minute. And then, she began to dance about in the rain.
For a long moment, Hoji just stood in the entranceway, watching Jasmine. He was absolutely entranced by her. Come to think of it, Hoji had been in love with Jasmine ever since they met and some days, like today, he simply couldn’t take his eyes off of her.
Jasmine was so beautiful to Hoji’s eyes. Everything about her was beautiful, even her ESP powers. He’d fantasized about having her for himself for a long, long time.
Suddenly, it occurred to him that they were alone and the moment seemed right. He might never get another opportunity to tell her his feelings…. or at least, not another moment as perfect as this one.
Without thinking about it at all, Hoji walked out into the pouring rain and approached Jasmine.
Jasmine was twirling around in the rain, and she looked more like a carefree little girl than a beautiful, confident Special Police officer. Hoji stood there, watching her for a moment, his hair falling down into his eyes.
Jasmine stopped and looked at him for a moment, her dark eyes shining. She smiled at him and then, before he could say anything or even stop her, she ran over to him, threw her arms around him and kissed him deeply.
Hoji was shocked out of his skin for about three or four seconds before he responded to the kiss, wrapping his arms around Jasmine’s waist.
They stayed like that for a while before Jasmine let her lips leave his.
“I’m sorry.” She murmured, quietly.
“Why are you sorry, Jasmine?” Hoji asked.
“I didn’t mean to just do that.” Jasmine went on. “But kissing you in the rain has been a fantasy of mine for so long that, I simply couldn’t resist giving into it.”
To most people this might seem a bit out of character for Jasmine, but Hoji had always known that sometimes, Jasmine just needed a vent
Hoji smiled and then pulled Jasmine closer for another kiss. She seemed to melt into his arms. Hoji was good and solid and it felt good to press her body against his. It was like every single romantic fantasy she’d ever had.
Hoji kissed her more deeply, pressing her slim form against him, devouring her lips and then, a rumble of thunder sounded and Hoji broke the kiss.
Jasmine gave a small whimper of protest and he smiled.
“Let’s go inside before we catch cold.” He murmured and tugged on her uniform.
Jasmine giggled and nodded, taking his hand in her gloved hand and they went inside together, stopping long enough to give each other a kiss before heading through the sliding double doors.
