Glendalough

hey ho. so i took a trip out to glendalough yesterday a monastary founded in 617 by famous holy man, hermit, misogynist and woman murderer St Kevin.
 wind, rain, sleet and rain be damned i was goin to play with my fancy new camera come what may... soooo





this is the valley into glendalough. i was nearly blown off the road a hundred times on the way over


usually this waterfall is a trickle but the rain really gave it some energy

died in 1750 aged 106, this guy must have been the oldest person in the world at the time. but at the same time they werent alowed keep records of catholic births so he could just as easily been 40

this is the bullaun stone, according to legend St Kevin had no cow so he persuaded a doe to leave milk in the Bullaun for him.
