New year meme of righteousness!
This year really was a year of two halfs. the first in ranelagh, the surrounded by nastyness, the second calm one in terenure
1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
Began playing a propper trad session regularly with old friends
2. Did you keep your goals/resolutions for 2011?
I dint have any at all, I suppose get better at Banjo and finally learn to drive. check!
3. What was your favourite moment of the year?
Getting Pace I think
4. What was your least favourite moment of the year?
Having to move very quickly because a psycho neighbour tried to torch the house while we slept. Plus the danger and intimidation we had to put up with when we lived in Ranelagh
5. What countries or states did you visit?
Czech republic again and the UK. Both awesome places which I absolutely love
6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
A stable economy where I dont have to be afraid of the future.
7. What date(s) from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
2nd January, the day I finally quit smoking, or rather the last one i had
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
probably the smoking thing
9. How did you celebrate Thanksgiving?
With a thought for the native people of america and how they have never had any semblence of justice since that unfortunate day
10. How did you celebrate Christmas/Yule/Festivus/insert winter holiday here?
Deadly! for the first time i had dinner in my own place, with nolly and pace of course. Basically id go around everu year and barely be fed because I was vegetarian. I was just completely sick of it so decided I was going to do it myself. Highly recomend it to everyone
11. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Nolly. For being the calmest coolest person in the face of overwheling stress
12. What was the best new thing you got?
Well I didnt get it, but Nolly getting propper medication for AS was the best present I could get.

Again Im going to have to say stable economy and death to racists
14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent, food and of course taxes. Fuck you to all the tax dodging rich bastards in this country who just pop over to another country to escape it while still living here. absolute wankers

the couch. oh how i love our L shaped masterpiece

Off the top of my head Im going to say Johnny McGory as done by the lynches at the session. either that or my trad version of the A team theme

Happier or sadder? happier
Thinner or fatter? about the same id say.
Richer or poorer? about the same again id say. Im a little tighter just because we dont know whats going to happen in the Euro
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Gone out with mates. I do but im finding myself less able to tolerate loud pubs

stressing, carrying around a metal bar for personal protection if i wanted to go to the shops

even more with nolly which i didnt think possible.

Loads if you include festivals. vantastival and Beautiful days were epic

2011 was such a shitty year for movies. but the best one Ive seen was hobo with a shotgun!

Im reading a deadly one on ancient Irish satire which has just pages and pages of Insults in old irish. Awesome!

Just because somewhere sounds nice, doesnt mean it is. Its not the case that deep down everyone is good. some people are evil cunts and should be put on an island prison somewhere

the ongoing chaos in europe. the death of ireland as a country. the dale farm evictions, the shitty greed of the powerfull.

Greyhound gang buddies and reaquinted with old punk buddies transformed into awesome trad musicians
