Preparations (open for rp, or just a ficpost)
Minako was down by the docks, being sure to keep an eye out for any predators. She could take care of them herself if there were any, she knew, but the idea of transforming in front of a criminal didn't appeal to her. Apart from the embarrassment (though, she'll admit, it was sometimes liberating,) the criminal might be able to identify her later on, and she didn't need that at all.
She didn't want to be V or Venus at the moment, though--she wanted to get this done as quickly as possible, and get out. She had a test the next day first period, and if she overslept and missed it, her mother would take a frying pan to her face.
Minako took the device out of her pocket, holding it out in front of her. Artemis said all she'd have to do was push the button, and walk the length of the docks, pointing the device toward the bay. It would hopefully be able to read where the spacecraft was. After that, it was up to Minako to arrange a way to get there, all without bothering Ami-chan.
She wasn't looking forward to that. Now, however, her job was relatively easy. She began to walk.
