When The Rain Washes You Clean, You'll Know.

The train ride into the city with Terry was...awkward, to say the least. She asked how Conner was, but never really gave me an opening to let her know he dumped me. I wasn't going to randomly offer the information. Either way, she would have wanted to know what happened, and I'm not sure I can lie about how it happened anymore. And telling the truth on a train? :/ She kept staring at me, and it was creepy. Once we were in the city, it was better. We walked to MSG, and then got some sandwiches at a nearby Subway. I can't even finish a 6 inch sub anymore. :|

Right next to MSG, there was a HUGE two story Borders. I convinced her we should kill some time in there, and she bought me a book. She also pointed out a new series I want to start reading, which is about a cat that TURNS INTO A HUGE DRAGON. How can I not read it? D: She has them, so she's going to let me borrow them. I found out that she also has read Twilight. We've actually read a lot of the same series. Which made me sad, because having the same taste in books as her is now yet another thing on the list of "ways I'm like my mother".

We actually had pretty good seats! We were like, a few hundred feet away, and right across from the stage. We could see them all perfectly. I took so many pictures, my camera died. I also managed to take two videos. They did two encores. I started to get sad, because I didn't think they were going to play Silver Springs, and I really, REALLY wanted to hear it. But it ended up being the second encore, so I was happy. :D I was just generally pleasantly surprised by the set list. I knew most of the songs they played, and I really only know a few hand fulls of songs. Fleetwood Mac has been around for over 40 years, they have A LOT, of music. They said that, since they didn't have an album to promote on this tour, they just picked songs that were fun. Which were (mostly) songs that I knew. I just think that's pretty cool.

Stevie looked amazing, as usual. Her dresses are always so fabulous. If I wore dresses, I would totally wear Stevie dresses. Lindsey is still so sick on guitar, I couldn't believe it! Mick is still a crazy fucking drummer, and I love him. He had bright red shoes on, and it made me laugh. He's just such an awesomely strange guy. They were all just so crazy energetic and amazing.

I wasn't as "into" this concert as I was into Mayhem, but I guess that doesn't say much. Fleetwood Mac and Slipknot are two very different kinds of music. Fleetwood Mac is more relaxing and enjoyable, instead of crazy and enjoyable. I did get up and dance around during the encores, though. I got a shirt, which is a lot tighter than a Large has any business being. The neck line is also pretty funky. But other than that, it's a nice long sleeved shirt.

On the train ride home, we were next to a woman that had clearly partied too hard. She actually ended up puking. All over her boyfriends shoes. :x Two seats over, there was another woman that had partied too hard, passed out across three seats. :/

I'm tired but wired at the same time. I'll either watch more Big Bang Theory, or start my new book. Not sure.

Even my dad is noticing my weight loss, now. :/
