Of ARGs and paranoia.
The ARG for Cloverfield is driving me nuts! It's even more fucking complex than the ARG for LOST.
There are "legit" news reels about the Chuai Drilling station (on of which says "Noralk, CT" on the bottom :D", Videos filmed by a character that was in the movie for all of 5 seconds (and passed out during that time, no less) which she sent to her boyfriend, who is supposedly part of the group that is being blamed for the Chuai stations "bombing" and is then kidnapped. There's a site totally dedicated to Slusho! which is hardly even mentioned in the movie, there are images that clearly show the military knew about everything before it came to New York and show them attacking it before it came on shore. Seven of the characters HAVE MYSPACES ON WHICH THEY TALK TO EACHOTHER AND POST BLOGS.
This could go on forever! Right now people are saying new things will pop up until May (when the movie is supposed to take place) others are saying there will be another movie that was filmed with a different camera by a different group of people and THEN we'll now where it came from.
MY BRAIN HURTS.
And I'm sad, because apparently the ARG for LOST is over, and I had lost track of it. Everything is different now, and I can't find the codes for the Dharma Indistries site anywhere, or even how the ARG played out. It can't be over, because LOST season 4 is starting next week. :gonk:

Tasku and I are going to see it again today to see small things that we missed the first time around. :)
