(no subject)
Today was a good day.
I went to Alix's house after school with Moroh and I had a really good time. We played video games, messed around with kendo sticks and I killed Julian when he tried to glomp me as I walked away from our spar match. I was the one that pulled down Malachi on the hunt and held him down for Alix, but I sorta broke my ring fingers nail entierly off. It ripped almost all the way to the cuticle, and it hurts like a bitch. We raced up the street to get Constantine when he was lost, and I couched down in the road and ran at him, chomped down on his shouder and dragged him, then shook my head and threw him toward the house. ^_^ We had pizza and watched Mononoke Hime. Alix's sister is really annoying.
My dad came to get us, and he really likes Alix's mom and how she's so into knives and stuff. He said there was a surprise for me at home with an evil grin on his face and that scared me.
We dropped Moroh off and I picked up my stuff and we came home.
Dad says to me "Take care of your animals. ALL of them." I look in the small cage and there curled up is light ferret I don't know. I smile. "Who's is this?" His name is Freddy, and he is a year and a half old. We're his third owners, he is our first rescue ferret. HIs first owner got him from a pet store, and the lady that had him before us got him from the human society. She had to get rid of him because they aren't home much and they couldn't give him what he needed anymore. Tom Buno told her he knew someone who might give him a good home, and called my dad. My dad said yes, we would take him.
He came complete with vet papers, the letter the first owner gave the humain society on why she couldn't keep him, his own cage, name tag, food, water bottle and lead. He might have fleas, and his nails are terribly long. Other than that, he looks very healthy. His fur is good, eyes bright, he's nice and plump, huge compaired to my little girls. Tomorrow I clean all is stuff, give him a bath, clean his years and clip his nails, then see how he gets along with Raven and Gizmo. After that will come the hard part. Litter training. He's corner trained, so it might not be too hard, as long as we make sure the only corner available is the litter box one. He's absolutly adorable. I'll be sure to take come pictures tomorrow.
