Cole shimmered into the room. He blinked at Phoebe packing. "Going somewhere?" he asked a little nervously. Maybe she couldn't deal with what was going on with him anymore.

Phoebe looked up at him and then gave him a soft smile, shaking her head. "Nowhere permanent, love," she said, going to him and hugging him tightly to her. "Lana needs me. Jim was forced to go home for a bit and she's pretty wrecked."

"Wow, she's pretty dependent on him, isn't she," Cole said, hugging her back, blissfully unconcerned with any irony of his dependence on Phoebe.
