National Grid Incentives
Looked at the national grid site last night looking to see if they had new incentive programs that I didn't know of. In addition to the 75% off insulation up to $2000 they have this new program - Super insulation upgrades - Deep Energy Retrofit. In a nutshell they have up to 40K of incentives for single family homes and more for multi-families, that get sealed and insulated to very high levels, Ie R60 in attics and R40 for walls and R5 for windows.

So now the question is...... Should I look into adding another 4" of rigid foam on to my roof before re-roofing and adding the solar panels? It would certainly be an interesting engineering project to make that happen in a robust way.
