Summer I consider to be my prime reading time.
Just recently, I finished The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo by Steig Larsson
Now, I've moved on to The Girl Who Played With Fire
Aside from these, as I am waiting for the 3rd to come out on paperback, I shall be tackling more of TIME magazine's top 100 contemporary novels. So far, I have read 11 out of the 100:
1. All the King's Men -- Robert Penn Warren
2. Animal Farm -- George Orwell
3. The Grapes of Wrath -- John Steinbeck
4. The Great Gatsby -- F. Scott Fitzgerald
5. Invisible Man -- Ralph Ellison
6. Never Let Me Go -- Kazuo Ishiguro
7. Slaughterhouse-Five -- Kurt Vonnegut
8. Their Eyes Were Watching God -- Zora Neale Hurston
9. Things Fall Apart -- Chinua Achebe
10. To Kill a Mockingbird -- Harper Lee
11. White Teeth -- Zadie Smith
On this and my list for the summer, I have:
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (I have read the first two, and not the last)
Lord of the Flies
On the Road
I must be super bored if I will be reading this much. Man, I can't wait to start working.
