I write to you all from my bed at the D&D rental apartments in Downtown Mansfield. It's a glorious place. It's got that taste of living in the city without actually living in a big city.

There was a 9 car police chase through the main road here last night. I didn't see it personally, but I got the story from the rest of my cohorts that live here.

Seriously, it's like living in a frat house. People are always coming and going, there's usually someone who's always awake, there's an asshole who's always playing the guitar (usually me), and we get yelled at by the landlords almost weekly.

It's quite a lot of fun.

The show's going all right. They had auditions for one-acts this afternoon, but then I remembered that I was taking this summer to shift away from acting for a little bit and focus more on the technical side of theatre. And so far, that focus has yet to disappoint. I'm learning a hell of a lot about lighting, and I'm getting better at using screwguns and the like. The Master Electrician here, Bobby, is pretty friggin' awesome. Many stories to be shared when I leave here, to be sure.

However, as much as I'm enjoying my time here, I'm missing Emory, mainly because I'm missing the hell out of the people. I wish I was better at staying in touch with everyone, but alas, I'm terrible at it.

I'll post some more pictures up here when I get my camera at the right place and time. I think I look pretty damn sexy myself in that new pic, but of course I've always thought that I'm one hot mofo.

Well, that's enough self-assurance for one night.

To my Emory people, I miss you, I love you, keep it real, and give me a call if you get a chance: 276.728.1527

Love all y'all,

Zach
