COVERED IN PAINT.

The art for kids classes started yesterday, and with me being the new fish, I'm working with the youngest kids, since their class is more "art for fun" instead of "art for fun and profit." It's about ten kids in my class, and let's just say that ten 6 year olds cause lots of paint spills. On me. On each other. The room looked like ( Read more... )

Hahahaha! They sound like great kids, they really do.

You hair's already blue, it can only get more colorful. XD

Hey, they're using dish soap on those oil birds. You should try that in your hair if it's oil paint right?

Oh, they're fun. They're LOUD, but they're fun. =)

I like my hair just blue! Well, occasionally I'll dye some silver streaks, but blue works!

Thanks, but it's water-based, since these are little ones. =) It'll come out, but paint hardens and it sucks.

I was a loud kid too. Haha! Still am, sometimes, yes I am.

Silver and blue are the colors of granny hair, just saying.

At least it's not that green goo stuff? I hope you don't have to cut any out.

Oh, me too! But ten of them in a room with echoes kinda hurts.

HEY! D= My hair is nice! Now you definitely owe me sushi.

Ooof, not cutting my hair. It's coming out, it's just slow.

Good luck. XD

I'm thinking that or teaching them the quiet game! Or playing classical music or something.

This weekend sounds great! Hope your wallet's prepared, I eat a lotta sushi.

Thanks! =)

You should teach them tennis. XD

My wallet can take a hit. Hope you don't mind kaitenzushi. :D

=) Not a bad idea for when we're having break!

Kaitenzushi is awesome. I missed it so much in the US.

I remember that clay was fun when I was a kid. My mom still has a lopsided vase I made out out of funny looking coils of it.

They didn't have any there? D:

Wait, wait! It's okay cause you were in the land of burgers. XDDD

Clay's coming up in a few days. I'm not that great at sculpture, my thing's more sketching and painting, but it's so much fun!

They had sushi, but not kaitenzushi! D= I was sad. The burgers were really good, though. =)

Hahaha! Kids like getting messy, really messy.

Yeah! You said you studied art. Is your stuff good? I'd say show me your etching, but I think that means something else.

XD Does American McDonald's taste like ours?

That's why they wear art aprons! =)

I'm still studying it. =D If you'd like to see my sketches, I'll show you my book after sushi. I don't like bringing it with me when I'm not drawing, too much of a worry of getting it messy.

Sadly, American McDonald's is worse. And no Tamago Burger.

How old are the kids you teach?

I'd like to see them if you don't mind. XD I like art. Don't know much about it. not much at all, but I know what I think looks good.

What?! That's a crime.

Six year olds, a couple are 7. And three are 6 and a HALF and won't let me forget.

Sure! =) My paintings are up in the suite, too, so you can see what I do. I like photorealism.

I know! They stared at me when I asked if they could put an egg on my burger.

That sounds really cool. :D

I liker mine both ways, but man, no egg!

Thanks! Hope you like it.
