...I have a new job.  I'm working at a botanical garden.  It's the grunt work, seeing as though I'm not a botanist, but it's rather peaceful-and I like getting my hands in the dirt, not to mention the pay.  Renji, they're very impressed that I own a Titan Arum, even though it's not close to flowering yet.

It looks like Genichirou killed a cow and decided to share it with me. He also stares at me and tries to get me to eat it, it's quite unnerving.

...I forgot about your birthday. I suck.

He went through the fridge and freezer here and it doesn't look like anything is missing. He's worried, though I'm surprised he didn't try to pin you down and force you to eat raw meat.

You don't suck. Well, I know you do but not in the way you're saying. We weren't even here.

I know he's worried. I've known for years that Genichirou sharing his meat means that he cares. I just haven't been hungry.
