Step Sixty-Four

...Takashi slipped tickets under my door early this morning. Why couldn't he have given them to me in person?

I guess he doesn't understand what I said. He told Eiji that I lied and told him that I didn't love him, and that's gotten me into a whole new mountain of trouble.

When I think about it...can I have a relationship where I live in fear that my words are going to be twisted into something like that? I love Takashi. I still do. But the more I think about it...my love for him is more affectionate than romantic, and with time, it could be romantic, but...

I told him I was sick and scared. Now I think I'm sure that he doesn't want to hold onto me.

..No. I'm not going to think like this today. It's my birthday. Time to celebrate, Takashi with me or no.

Excellent game last night, Tezuka. We'll need to play again soon.

So, um...wow. It's my birthday, and I'm feeling old. I guess everyone forgot again. =(

I'm thinking some Rikkai traditions are always going to be followed, and that includes forgetting buchou's birthday-which of course makes buchou sad, and to make him happy again, there's always assigning birthday laps, Rikkai.

....Tradition is awesome!

Anyway, I decided to treat myself to a new tennis bag, since mine is getting to the point beyond repair. Opened up the enormous package from my folks, and Mom sent plenty of wasabi chocolate chip cookies (yes, Fuji. Please take some), and more pepper seeds to grow (...yes, Fuji. These are for playing around with the hot sauce kit), and more oil paints (the really good ones I've been dying for, awesome! And no, Fuji. This is for me to play with. =P)

Super busy morning ahead of me, then lunch and arcade hopping with Sen, and...I have these tickets to dinner and a jazz concert tonight. Would anyone like to come with me? I could use the company.

Also, this video was mysteriously in my email inbox this morning-and I had to post it. It made me giggle. =) Although, I don't understand the whole "Tezuka and dinosaurs" thing in there...
