dbsk 30-day challenge: day 2&3
Day 2 - Your favorite DBSK song
While I always love their fast dance-y songs (mirotic, purple line, "O", Break Out, The way you are, Rising Sun, etc.), I have to say I love their ballads most. Their dance songs prove their stamina and how they can dance and sing at the same time (and still sound perfect), but the slower songs show how terrific their voices are. Dbsk has amazing ballads in both Korean and Japanese. Just to name a few.... Doushite, Bolero, Love in the Ice, You're my Melody, On and On, Miduhyo, etc... (fine it's mostly Japanese songs =.= ). It's hard to chose a favorite since each ballad appeals in its own way. Doushite and Bolero are kind of dramatic, Love in the ice is... awesome, You're my Melody is fun~ etc etc... However, at this moment, I would chose Tonight as my favorite dbsk song. Why??? Well I always thought the song was okay until I saw a live vid of it in... The Mirotic Concert. And they were AWESOME!! All their vocals shined, Junsu was so passionate, Jaejoong hit his high notes, and Changmin was great. Yunho and Yoochun were good too. ^^ I also really like the lyrics to the song. I don't remember exactly what the lines were, but the entire song is about being engulfed by their love. Yes it's very cheesy, but I appreciate and value the beauty of the song's words.
Day 3 - Your least favorite DBSK song
So dbsk has a lot of songs, and I somewhat group them in 3 categories (I don't really do this but for this sake of this question...):
1.) Great/awesome!!! I like this!!!
2.) Okay, passable, not memorable, but I still like!!!11
3.) ehh... This is bad. I don't like. TT^TT
Obviously there isn't really much in the bad pile b/c dbsk doesn't really have any bad songs. If I think REAL hard... I chose kiss the baby sky as my least fav dbsk song. The high notes make me cringe... I've given it multiple tries when it first came out, and although I like seeing their happy faces in the mv, I can't stand the song. Yoochun even wrote it too... Sadness~ This is one of his works which I can't appreciate. Sorry dong bang~
