Happy Negative Marriage
Currently watching this 2014 drama. Downloaded from nyaa but it is not clear where it was broadcast. The production company is SPO. Story originally in manga.
The premise of the story reminds me of Densha Otoko. The protagonist is a 30-yr old nerd, Sato Keita, an otaku-like guy (but not into anime or figurines) who works for a construction company and has never dated. He gets matched up with a beautiful woman, Akio Shimako, at an omiae. They get along well at the initial meeting but she gets drunk and passes out when Keita takes her to her hotel room. Keita struggles with his desire to make love to the inebriated Mako and his total inexperience with women. In the end he does nothing and leaves.
Interesting title music with a strong beat and suggestive voice-over.
Keita as played by Nagayama Takashi is a believable inept character without the annoying crying of Ito Atsushi's Densha. And gravure model Seto Saki as Mako is a worthy successor to Ito Misaki's Hermes.
