So, at the urging of 
misterpengo, I picked up EVE online.
It's nice and complex, and I seem to like it. I'm a fairly casual gamer with brief periods of activity, so it seems to fit.
I'm near the end of my 2 week trial, so I'll probably sign up for the monthly fee.
The problem is that I still am paying for FFXI, despite not logging in since December, and not playing since last August.
I'm probably going to have to cancel the account, but I'm trying to figure out if I should reinstall, log in, say a last goodbye, and move on.. or just let it go quiet-like.
I have all my EQ too, that's gotta be worth something to somebody on the server.
Maybe someone should get some free stuff.
