In other news, I got to tinker with my car. I have a small device that allows me to pump an mp3 player through the car speakers. It's great but not loud enough so I don't use it. I caved in, and decided to adjust the gain control on the device... except it's buried inside the dash.
After an hour, I managed to disassemble a good chunk of the car, adjusted the control, made everything sound perfect, then put it all together again. And there were only two screws leftover. Yay.
One more disassembly and repair and it's all set, and ready for my honest and for-truly real road trip in March. Just need a good camera for that.
