well.
hello there!
when was there last an update that was more than "you're a pineapple tart! try your answers here..."
forever ago.
forever and a half, even.
well. nothing too exciting has happened.
^ lie!
you can choose which stories you read... because they're quite detailed as i'm a tad sleepy and incoherent.
yesterday i spent the day in kisco with erica before i had therapy. the elephant's trunk has the most beautiful handbags and godawful gowns. it was lovely. and a man behind the counter in cosi thought i was a chica bonita.
man: [spanish spanish spanish spanish]
me: [smile.]
man: habla espanol?
erica: si! un poco!
man smiles at erica, like,"well thats nice for you, bitch." turns to me: you no like es-spanish?
me, thinking he said speak, and not like: no...
man, aghast: you no like?
me: oh no! spanish is fine - i like spanish fine! i just dont speak it...
erica has been shouting random spanish phrases such as "me gusto la playa!" and "burrito" for several minutes. its is time to order. as we order, the creepy man behind the counter winks and smiles at me often.
when we pay, he says: what's your name?
me: rachel
man: rah-chol? you got pretty smile, rah-chol. beautiful. [wink]
me: thank you.
i walk to the table erica's found for us.
me: i'm in love.
so now im engaged! we plan to eat cosi bread and feed his other seventeen children with leftovers... ill make most of our income whoring myself to his friends.
isnt love exciting??
we scuttled over to my therapists office, but not before a quick stop at glaze's workplace... ohh opthamology is so hot.
in therapy i learned how to summarize so i dont not do mr.cockface's homework anymore. but summarizing makes me cry, so i looked terrible as my mother brought me from therapy to justine's. justine's dad is mr. commercial, so he gave j-bean a book of lovely agents in the city. i was supposed to go to her house so we could find good ones. instead, justine and all of her senior friends and i ended up playing lazer tag at new rock city. it should have been awkward, as ive spoken to ali, daniella, and jenny like twice ever, but it was really fun! since dan is black, all the guys were like, damn girlll - you looking finnneee. it was quite helpful, actually, because we only had to pay for 3 lazer-tagging for all five of us to play. and whenever there was a lull in conversation, one could always count on a "damn girl!" to be heard in the background.
justine chipped some girl's tooth in the second half of our first game of lazer tag. we were all terrified her team was gonna kick our little white bottoms, but they turned out to be lovely people. we were all joking by the end of it, and it turns out the girl's mother is a dentist, so her teeth'll be capped by the end of the weekend! of course, we had to stop playing to make sure the chica was alright, so the guy who gave us free lazer tag told all of us to come back later and hed give us a complementary game.
during downtime we go-carted. my first time. i came in third, bitches! of like... 11. and again, dan was getting some sweet action from juan, who opted for the police go cart, which was unfortunate, because hes associate's powder blue velour track suit and jersey matched the police car perfectly. alas, juan is the alpha male, i suppose. and with good reason. his bling was off the chain.
the rematch of lazer tag was intense. we all had code names of a crayon color theme
dan: fire engine red
ali: bile green
jenny: mac & cheese
j-bizzle: royal blue
me: periwinkle
as well as specific cries to signal for help
dan: wooowooo
ali: pboo pboo
j-biz: neighhhh
jen: grrrroooowwwll
me: ca-caw ca-caw
we strategerized, designating "sharpen!" as our battle cry when infiltrating the other team's base. when stealth was necessary, a single cry of "invisibility cloak!" rang true among the fires of lazer beams. before play, we put our guns in the middle and reminded ourselves to "color in the lines!" i.e, be careful and precise, and the most lovely of pictures will surely follow.
we rocked the shit out of team red, bitches.
we worked hard, and bonded as a team.
it was heart-warming.
afterwards, we desperately needed some masssive rehydration. on our way out the doors, a bunch of guys started calling over to daniella. we all crowded around her, as we were all too tired to deal with such silliness. they followed us to the store where we got some agua, though, and as soon as we walked out the door
gangsta: yo-mah friend wants ta halla at you
dan, looking blindly into the mass of like four guys: oh hi....
gangsta: nahh-hes ova there. he wants to know your name, you know - getcho numba and shit....
dan: umm
[the friend]: hey baby, how you doinn
dan: uhh
we're at the doors to the parking garage, trying to leave-because the parking meter had run out and we had to get home...
me, putting my hand on daniella's shoulder: hey, im sorry... but we're together...
gangsta: what, so my friend can't holla at....
me: no no no, i mean we're together... and i slide my hand down and squeeze dan's ass a little. we all skidaddle before we laugh and give it all away...
dan was grateful.
and on the ride home we listened to 2gether and whoa! and wham and all sorts of lovliness!
today was ella's day! we were meant to go to le shoppe d'op, but it was closed on account of this good friday business. stuck in town, we got ourselves applications for jobs at starbucks and waited for erica to pick us up so we could case the thrift tree. alas, the thrift tree was also closed, so erica treated smelly elly to a mini shopping spree at target.
there were: gold shoes with a spiked heellittle boy tee-shirtslittle girl fancy-dressesmaternity shirtssweaters for small childrenmagnifing glassesex-cheerleaders working at the pizza hut insideultra-useful visors/headbands/earmuffs/necklaces/sunglasses/those foamy pillow things you put around your neck when you want to nap on planessexy silk robesgreen-yellow colaninja turtle pajamas
target was followed by tea at temptation tea house with thirteen people and a slutty peter pan and sparkly hats and rachels in an L and a battle between amelias and rachels worldwide.
thank goodness for ella being born, for her birth gave me a delightful day!
unfortunately, no work has been done, so tomorrow after my lovely mother purchases me a big girl coat on account of my personal growth as an adult, i have to have the opposite of fun.
